Well. I am the one who asked her to make a Kinchaku bag for anonymous customers (future friends). After she took my Sashiko Workshop, she continued enjoying Sashiko. One day, I couldn't stop myself from asking her if it is okay to introduce her items to the world. Among the many free interpretations of Sashiko, Nana's Sashiko is the Sashiko I would like to pass down. I hope you would find it "ordinary" as well as the "tradition" of Sashiko. It is a strong & beautiful bag - which I plan to use it for many years.
刺し子をお伝えする中で、「こんな刺し子を残せたらいいなぁ」と思い描く刺し子をされるNa.Naさん。様々な解釈がある刺し子の中で、これぞ刺し子と海外で紹介できる作品を作って頂きました。10年使ってみてどうなるか。10年の日々の変化が楽しみで仕方ありません。
